Pennsylvania College Transfer Resources

Pennsylvania has several programs designed to enable transfers. Most notably, Pennsylvania Transfer and Articulation Center (PA TRAC) created 30+ credit hours of foundation courses that seamlessly transfer between the state’s community colleges and the 14 universities in Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). Private and non-PASSHE public schools are allowed to voluntarily participate, and several do. The complete list of participating schools includes Temple, Penn State and University of Pittsburgh, which all participate to a limited degree.

You can still transfer colleges outside this system, but you will need to contact each school directly to confirm credit transfer policies.
